MB-SUNSHADES is an aluminium system intended for execution of external window shutters. Such structures protect interiors against excessive sun exposure, they protect windows against unauthorised entry and the façade gains a characteristic look. Window shutters, 32 mm deep, may come as casement shutters with either one or two sashes.
Details
The structure of shutters (framing) is formed by box-like profiles of the dimensions 70×32 mm, joined in corners by means of system accessories. Durability of the joint has been attained due to the application of twocomponent glue. The framing is filled with louvers (slats) sloping outwards of the dimensions 50x9mm, spaced at the same distance every 45mm. Application of endslats (top, bottom) that come in two length variants allows for a whole range dimensions. Alternatively, opaque panels may be applied as infills of the thickness between 18 and 24 mm.
The structure is installed on the building by means of the hinges offered with the system. The number of hinges is determined on the basis of the guidelines provided in the catalogue. Depending on the type of building wall, mounting can be done either by screwing or gluing with the use of chemical anchors. The solution allows for adjustment of the shutter position in two directions within the range of +/-3mm. The application of system hinges makes it possible to install the shutter sash within or outside the reveal, maintaining at the same time a fixed point of mounting. The offer is additionally supplemented by hinges with arms shaped by bending, as required by the customer.
The sash of the shutter can accommodate hardware of different manufacturers, thus making it possible to attain the desired visual and usable effect. Application of additional strengthening rods offered in the system enables creating structures of the non-standard dimensions.
